Over the course of 6 beautifully transformative days in the jungles of Costa Rica, you will go deep into practices, rituals, and ceremonies with Adrian Ellison to connect, trust, and awaken your inner beloved, and authentic self in all forms and layers. Awaken the Medicine is for women seeking a safe container to explore deeper layers of their gifts and trauma. This container is intentionally curated to hold, witness, and support as you heal and expand beyond your perceived limitations. Through shadow work, somatic experiencing, feminine embodiment, and intimate community, we access our most authentic selves. Together we will learn how to cultivate and harness our deepest power to live a life of profound pleasure, depth, and truth. From community and healing, to exploring the beauty of Nosara, you will take part in a profound and deep experience that will fill you with a new sense of inspiration and direction for all that you want to create and share with the world!

ADRIAN ELLISON
Adrian Ellison is a modern day Medicine Woman with a gift of bridging language between what we see and what we feel. Her gifts are best experienced inside a unique community containers that serve as a catalyst for radical healing.
Adrian is the Founder of Awaken the Medicine, which encourages individuals to take their physical and mental healing into their own hands with the support of an embodied team of mentors.
Her purpose is to guide you through new levels of awareness around the uniquely unconscious parts of yourselves so you can claim the fullness of who you are.
Having healed her mind and body of chronic illness, her passion for teaching alternative methods of healing to activate the intuitive healer within us all happens within this sacred container!

BODHI TREE
JUNGLE LUXURY SANCTUARY
Welcome to your home for the week! Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort is beautifully designed to be nestled in nature, with the surrounding jungle being left as it was, natural, as it’s meant to be. As sustainable and green, the resort consciously protects and preserves the natural environment while offering comfort and luxury.
You will wake with the sounds of wildlife and monkeys. You can take an early morning dip in the saltwater infinity pool or enjoy fresh juice or coffee at the community smoothie bar.
Three delicious meals are served each day using organic and local ingredients whenever possible. The resort strives to provide guests with the highest level of nutrition — serving fresh soups, salads, organic chicken and fish. The kitchen offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, as well as delicate health conscious inspired desserts - we LOVE the food!
Throughout the property there are fountains and waterfalls, and all rooms are Balinese-inspired. Each room has luxurious cotton sheets, fluffy pillows, and a canopied bed that promises a well-deserved rest. All bungalows have air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and modern amenities. Security staff is available 24 hours and housekeeping staff will keep your room looking as beautiful as the first day you arrived.
Apart from our retreat schedule, Bodhi Tree offers community classes in Yoga, Spin, Pilates, Sound Healing and more. There is also a gorgeous spa with an array of different treatments using organic oils and lotions to relax your mind and soul - we highly recommend a spa visit during the retreat!
We’ve held retreats at Bodhi Tree for more than 5 years — it is one of our favorite properties to come together in community. The beach is just a quick bike ride or walk down the towns local roads where you will see perhaps the most amazing sunsets you have ever seen.
This is a world class retreat center where you will be very well taken care of.

Being in one of Adrian’s containers, feels like true freedom. As much work as I’ve done myself, I can still walk into rooms with some walls up around my heart or body. But not in Adrian’s spaces. I trust that Adrian has vetted every single person, set clear boundaries around the level of integrity she upholds, and my entire nervous system can relax. Everyone’s relaxed nervous system allows for so much magic, beauty, authentic self-expression, and meeting oneself on a deep level to unfold. The way that Adrian intentionally curates not just the vibe, but the energetic field, will literally change your life just by walking through the door.

QUEEN BUNGALOW DOUBLE ROOM
A spacious bungalow with 2 queen beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, high ceilings, open-air rainfall shower, air conditioning, work desk, outdoor balcony, and wifi. 1 queen bed is reserved with your booking and we will pair you with a roommate, or you can book the room with a friend.
BODHI CASITA DELUXE
A private queen bedroom and private bathroom in a 2 bedroom Casita with a kitchenette, living area, air conditioning, wifi, and outdoor patio. If you are interested in sharing a room with a friend, let us know and we'll arrange it! The deluxe rooms are located by the spa area.
